Ok people, lets use words to bring us closer together… new Loci gig dates are currently being confirmed so keep an eye on the gigs page for the latest - a new date in Tamworth in August (the most austere of months) is already up. Next chance to see the AGITness is at the Croft, Bristol on Thursday 2nd July.
For the cheap and/or the download-ed-ly challenged who have not heard the magnificence of Medic in its entirety, another track now features over at LociSpace - check out Sucker Punch with your ears why not.

To make up for last month’s cancellation, a dark time for all involved, some new tour dates have been confirmed and several more should also be added in the ever ominous future - check out all the details of whether the strangely endearing inappropriateness of Loci will be coming to a town near you over at illustrious gigs page.

Some new Loci gig dates have been confirmed. Loci will be playing both Bristol and Cardiff over two consectutive days… can you imagine?
yEs, the band will be headlining at the Croft, Bristol on 15th January, and then playing as part of the Red Stripe Music Award 2009 at Cardiff Barfly on the 16th.

Release the Medic

It is with a tear in our collective eye and a song in our makeshift heart that we are able to officially announce the release date for Loci’s new release ‘Medic’. yEs, you pretty little rock munchkin, the new EP will be available from on the 15th of December. To celebrate this auspiscous event a new website is in front of your eyes, frankly we’re a little offended you didn’t mention it.
But wait, 15/12… that’s not only an improper fraction but also so very long way. Do not fear, in our constant attempt to bring horizons to you, a pre-Medic single will be released through this very website on the 24th November. The single will be the AGITrawk dittie ‘Negatives’; and out of November-cheer it will be downloadable for nothingness until Medic hits the stores. Ain’t life swell?……. no! it is a painful, meaningless struggle bleakly framed by an abyss, but at least there’s a soundtrack to the existential dilema - yay!

your first chance to hear new Loci sounds has arrived… the future is now. in true Loci fashion the tasty toastie soundbite is an odd medley of vibrat-e-ness from the new release - hear noises, wonder what they are, hear more noises, continue to wonder. the medic mash is now available - use your ear holes over at Locispace
a final release date is yet to be confirmed but soonish seems to be the consensus. we’ll have more news on the pre-cd, single release shortly along with the unveiling of a new digital era for the band. yEs, anticipation is your friend - cuddle it as you would a loveable monkey.

For those of you with ears, good news! The soundbite-y taster of Loci’s new recording Medic will be available to vibrate molecules near you on Friday 24th Oct. Come back here on that date of doom for the chance to hear a strange medley of clips from Medic - as with all Loci’s music it is best listened to in a dark room whilst rocking gently in the corner.
