and so the last Loci gig has come to pass. many were present, tears streaming down their cheeks. the noise, the disaster, the joy. but if your cheeks remain dry because for some crazy reason you could not get to Newport on that faithful day, behold! it sounded a little something like this:

Welcome to the end my filthy little friends, after 6 years of the terrible, Loci is coming to a close. To mark the occasion the darklings will be playing two final farewell gigs on 31/08 at the Louisiana, Bristol and 03/10 at Le Pub, Newport. Come join a celebration of noise as we burn the body of Loci and watch it float out into the Severn.
The website will remain active as there are some developments to report both Loci and post-Loci orientated.
Now, now… dry those tears, you look ugly when you cry.
Some Re-giggery

Four things to report:
1) The venues for Loci’s Hastings gig on 26th July has be altered - Loci will now be playing the Crypt, see gigs page for deets. Other than that you Hastonians need not fear, the strange noise will be upon you as promised.
2) For those of you in the South West you need not wait so long, Saturday 19th July Loci will be screaming in Midsomer Norton at the Wunderbar. Does this mean Loci prefer the South West to the South East? pah! Loci prefer nothing, they are merely the puppets of linear time - blame linear time my friends.
3) New details on the upcoming Loci recording will be unleashed in the not so distant future, soon you will know track titles and its name. There should also be a little soundbite toastie for you to sample and feel strangely warm after finishing.
4) Take care, we worry about you so.
Recording Update

Quiet you, Loci are recording… yEs, we thought we’d let you know that the new Loci release is underway. New noises and fear will be transmitted in the not so distant future, we’ll keep you up to date on the progress and perhaps you’ll hear some tasters. The recording means a little break from touring but the trio will be back shortly because they miss you so very much - new dates are being arranged as you sleep.

for those of you not lucky enough to get to see tonight’s battle of the bands at the Little Civic, Wolverhampton (25/1/07) you can catch the performance live tonight over the web.
