Unfortunately there has been a plague of unfortunousity of late, but out of such misery come tears of joy as Loci proudly stand up and say “kick me in the balls one more time”. Due to unforseen issues Tim Thorne will be returning, so you can stop sending all those threat-letters - yEs, the thorne is well and truly back in our side. Tim will be reuniting the original line up for the immediate future - more news to you when we know. On an unrelated note, the upcoming Loci gig in Poole has unfortunately been cancelled for reasons outside the band’s evil control.
Such pain must be rewarded though, and so to put that strange excuse for a smile back on your face a brand new Loci track has been uploaded to the LociSpace profile and in due course it’ll also be here on the lovely official website of said pain. The track is ‘Mean Spirited Drug-Addict’ and it is entirely separate to the upcoming Loci EP which is also underway - yEs, this track was made especially for you to soothe you like a mother’s bosom or possibly a possum’s mother.
The New Breed

The emotions of Tim’s final gig have died down, our bodies our out of fluid to cry and this is a good opportunity to welcome a new figure into the musical abysm. yEs, Loci have confirmed their new drummer: Elliot Vaughan… much more than just a name, he is also a person, and he hits things.
This Saturday sees the beginning of a whole new era of ear bleeding goodness. Catch Elliot’s first gig in Hastings this weekend.
Tim’s Farewell…

The upcoming gig on 28th Feb-r-u-ary is set to hailing of the end of an era: after several years in service Tim Thorne is hanging up his drum sticks as ridiculously non-functional a metaphor as that is. yEs, it is with heavy hearts that we inform you that this will be Tim’s farewell gig and your last chance to see Loci in its all original line-up. Although you’re finding this hard to read through all the tears and are screaming the word “why” repeatedly at the ever dampening computer screen, take solace in the fact that all members of Loci still think each other are swell. As for Loci, the juggernaut continues on with the fury of your mother - all gigs, and many more, will still continue dear flour babies, and details on the all new shiny drummer will be revealed in due course, but for now this post is dedicated solely to the legend of Timothy Thorne…
come pay your respects on the 28th.

Rehearsal of new material for the upcoming EP scheduled for release in 2008 is underway, but you cannot hear it yet - no, no… not even if you pull those puppy dog eyes, you forget, we hate puppies!! you are powerless…
Behind the stage footage of the Loci Hate You Tour is being filtered as we speak and will be produced in some highly digestible format shortly. In the meantime Loci continue to aggrivate the locals with a series of gigs this very November including two capital cities… but which ones?
